Artistic Challenge #2: {Anomalous}

We want to send a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who participated and supported our very first Artistic Challenge at the AT. It was interesting to see everyone's take on our previous theme. The beauty, creativity, and art poured into your work. It is absolute confirmation we are on the right path and engulfed in our passion that created this community. Thank you again for being so fluid and connecting with our visions. Well, enough with the sappy stuff.....the wait is over:

The Artistic Tog: Artist Challenge #2: {Anomalous}

The Lesson:

a·nom·a·lous
əˈnämələs/
adjective
  1. deviating from what is standard, normal, or expected.
(Sited from: Google.com)

The Challenge:

As artists we know nothing grows in a box, figuratively (of course). This next challenge we want to focus on unfamiliarity. Capture a subject that you have never photographed before. We don't want to get too technical with these challenges. We will leave the rest up for interpretation. If possible capture the subject in two ways. One in its usual environment and one not. You can post up 2 watermarked images {Anamalous} to our Facebook page wall. Use a short description to tell us something about your subject.

The Guidelines:

We inspire and support! Please keep your comments positive and kind. <3
Each challenge we launch will go on approximately 2 weeks. Guest Judges will be invited, occasionally, to choose their favorites. Mobile photography is not only accepted, but encouraged. :)

The Inspiration:

The Artistic Soul

Believe it or not, I've never photographed an apple. Simplicity + beautiful light + some ordinary fruit = art I love. I think I'll hang this in the kitchen. ~ Shay <3
