New Weekly Motif {Almost Axed} | Featuring Guest Judge Stephanie Mason Photography

How many times have you taken a photo and thought it was technically flawed or just didn't like it for one reason or another? As artist, sometimes, we are very critical of our work...probably the most critical of everyone. During culling, you may see images that do not meet your expectations, but we recommend you don't delete all of them. Evaluate those images to see if they are worth saving. You may pick up editing skills or gravitate toward a new style throughout your photography journey, that could turn your photo into a brilliant work of art or priceless moment salvaged. We can't tell you which images to save or delete, but we think taking a second look can be beneficial. With that being said, we would like to introduce this week's motif and guest judge.

We proudly announce our new weekly motif:
{Almost Axed} | Featuring Guest Judge Stephanie Mason Photography

The inspiration:

"I chose this image of my two boys at the theatre because technically it isn't a fantastic photo at all. I’m not a fan of the shadows, reflection from my youngest glasses or the fact that I had to crank my ISO up to 6400. The motif “almost axed” to me, is an image that I was going to disregard but ended up loving. This photo represents that for me and captures my two sharing an experience together.”
